Un Sospiro
on: June 01, 2024, 06:22:03 PM
How difficult is Un Sospiro by Franz Liszt?
It’s very VERY arpeggio focused
I know Une Barque Sur L’ocean sounds harder than it is, and it is also very arpeggio focused
Is Un Sospiro the same?

Both Un Sospiro and Une Barque Sur L'ocean are listed on licentiate diploma syllabus of Trinity College London. Personally I find the Ravel work is comparatively harder from both technical and musical aspects.

I'd argue the Barque is harder than un Sospiro, both technically and musically, as well.
