Why are some men unwilling to reveal both height and weight? ;)

I am glad smoking was mentioned in this thread...

I was at 160 lbs at 6 ft tall when I smoked...I am at 190 now, after 10 years with no tobacco....But I am in FAR better health otherwise....Worth the quit, believe me...

John Cont

I miss smoking, when i smoked i didnt eat and didnt notice how hungry i was. It definitely makes you put on weight when you quit. But you're right, it's probably much better for you.

Nowadays i eat a little more and smoke a little less (secretly... ;) i.e when i'm away from home - my parents would kill me)

Sheesh am short compared to guys on this forum. I is 172 cm tall which is like 5"8/5"7 i guess. I weigh 71kg. But i like my hight, especially when travling on the underground or sitting in a sport car, or in a night club. Since i love Al pacino i feel very secure under my own skin 8). I think Al pacino is very short.

What's a ' " ' and a ' ' '? Didn't they switch to the metric system yet? I though they did.

Well my "true" height is 5'11.5" (in the morning of course). However considering that many guys can round up ridiculous amounts (sometimes 2 inches or more), i think its ok if i call myself a nice even 6'.

5'1" 100 pounds-I come from a long line of short people, though every once in a while a tall person appears (usually a male relative)..it is good to see the diversity here, it would be boring if we were all the same height (but much easier to buy a pair of jeans that don't drag in the mud)

I was joking. Actually, I know how much a stone is, to my own shame...

had to laugh at the lose a stone challenge.

i used to be really fit.  then i broke my leg and was laid up since october.  i am just now able to work out but embarrassed to go.  i wish it was summer because then i would just go bicycling.  hate it when people watch you work out.  at the ymca they put the bikes in the front of all the other equipment.

anyway - i USEd to be 5'8 but now i'm about 5'7 from leaning over these crutches.  you can actually make yourself taller by stretching for 5-10 in the morning - but the inevitable shrinkage comes by evening.  i USED to be 120 lbs., now i'm probably 140.  i hope not more.  sometimes it's water retention, right!  i blame it on drinking too much water.  the fastest way to lose weight is not to eat bread.  go for the diet plate.  lots of protein.  boiled eggs in the morning.  usually by spring - i start my 'fitness training' again.  it consists of doing exercise when i have the energy.

hope you get your bike fixed and don't have any more cars running into you!  are you sure you're ok?  i can't imagine getting hit by a car.  how in the world did you get home?  my hubby fell off his bike near our home many years ago and his glasses broke and cut his forehead.  his shoulder had to have surgery, and his leg was messed up.  those bike accidents can be painful.  just take it easy for a while.  anyhew - when he was recovering we used the live aloe vera plant (cut in half length-wise) and again to the size of the wound.  it sticks on naturally like a band-aid - and the 1 inch gash in his forehead has healed without scarring!  also, we used it on his shoulder surgery cut - and the same result.  of course, he went back to cycling - and we both cycle a lot but keep our distances from each other.  he and my son accidentally 'tired' each other in a race to our old house.

no pain, no gain.  must go uphill.  (did you know lance armstrong cut off his engagement to sheryll crow.  i never thought they were right in the first place.  i hope he goes back to his first wife.  she seemed better suited).

Wanna hear something stupid funny

How bout high school level physics uses mostly the metric system, when we dont use it (much).

If the world used one system it would be a perfect place

I'm 6'3", and I weigh 140 lbs. I'm really tall and thin. My sister said that if I had long hair I'd look like Franz Liszt. pfft... if only I had his technique and dexterity.  ::)
