I believe Richard Strauss didn't write much for piano.
not much, but there is one mediocre piano sonata that I have. I think it's best he didn't write much for piano, actually. This sonata isn't very good.
Actually, at the youthful age of 21, Richard Strauss wrote a wonderful piano concerto, the "Burleske in D Minor" which, frankly, is astoundingly difficult to play.
