I am going to see the Swiss pianist Andreas Haefliger tonight. Anybody heard of him and your thoughts?
His program:
BEETHOVEN
Sonata in F Major, Op.54
Sonata in E Minor, Op.90
BARTÓK
Out of Doors (1926)
BRAHMS
Sonata in F Minor, Op.5

Well I guess not many have heard of him but he was a treat to watch last night. Each piece was played with a precision only the Swiss know.
My god, what a tough piece the Brahms is. I never heard it before but have heard many here speak of how tough Brahms' music is. Now I know.

I think he's fantastic. I saw him perform a Brahms concerto, and I was absolutely mesmorized. 150% impressed.
