Digital Piano and Ligeti studies
on: September 11, 2024, 04:02:02 PM
Hi,

My kid has just started to study Der Zauberlehrling, l'apprenti sorcier with her teacher, and I feel that our digital piano, a Kawai CA78, will limit her at one stage during her practice, if not this study, it will be "soon".

She also seems to enjoy Ligeti, so she might ask her teacher to learn some other ones, and when I look at some other studies, I am not really confident that she can practice or play them properly.

I feel that I have seen some limitations last year, especially the difference in dynamism between the DP and different grand pianos she tried, but it's a pain to find an acoustic she enjoys especially her preferences keeps changing...

So could a Kawai CA78 still hold it up?
