100th post wins. No consecutive posts!
on: September 21, 2024, 12:27:23 AM
While I like the idea of the other "x post wins" threads, it feels like there will never be an end in sight. Here at least someone win have a chance to see themselves crowned champion!
Best of luck :D

Seriously??? I'm not going to partake in this thread other than this comment, but they already had the 25th post wins... do we really need 100th post? After that, someone will probably start a 500th post wins, and then a 1000th post wins.

There will definitely be an end to the other post, and I will be there when it happens (power of positive thinking). This thread however is probably just going to devolve into LatG and LiiW barking at each other with whatever inane thoughts come into their heads with no one else really caring.

Hmm… Well, I appreciate the FYI. I'll have to plead ignorance on that point. I actually wasn't aware that this had been done already. If I knew I wouldn't have bothered.
You're right, we don't need another one of these threads. Frankly we didn't need the first one. I'm not sure what I was thinking to be honest. I suppose I was just bored and I had already decided to no longer participate in the other thread so I thought I'd try to start my own that was slightly less stupid and that, hopefully, wouldn't devolve into a cesspit of vulgarity. I'll take the fail. Can't win 'em all.

No lol.

lost didn't partake in 25th reply wins, so I doubt he would here.
And for once, I agree with you. This thread takes a joke (that was only funny once) a bit too far. I won't participate in it as such.

klavieronin, if you're trying to avoid a "cesspit of vulgarity" on a LPW thread, I suggest you come to Second to Last Post Wins. :)

Repetitive boring threads/posts are more interesting than repetitive triggering jokes.

It would be a nice feature to be able to block posts so you don't have to ever see them again.

Agreed. I posted in the Last Post Wins thread once and now it’s constantly at the top of my “replies to your posts” page. I would love to be able to remove it forever.
