Buying an old new C Bechstein
on: December 09, 2024, 06:29:53 PM
Hi - I’m thinking about buying a C Bechstein Academy A190 from my local dealer. They’re offering 10% off the RRP because it’s old stock. I looked up the serial number and it was made in 2018.
Should I be concerned that is has sat around in warehouses and the shop for 6 years? Is this normal?
It plays absolutely fine and I know Bechstein are known for their consistency of build. The normal 10 year guarantee is being offered.
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks!
Dave.
