discussing how music effects the scenes in a trailer.desperate 4 help!

musicians please lend me a hand, im really having a hard time.

some time this week, i have to tutor a bunch of yr 10 kids at my school about "how music is used in media". i.e how music effects the scene.

this was a bad decision made by me because im not experienced at all in this type of thing and i hate to look like a idiot infront them so please lend me a hand!!

i am suppose to demonstrate them the concepts of music (pitch, duration, texture, dynamics, expressive techniques and timbre)  and how it is used in the trailer.

so far i've done this
-first minute
*the telephone rings = suspense
*drums playing the heart beat
*low strings in the background played in a "jaw" like manner, like somethings coming. it is played as a filler i think and is ued throughout the first minute.
* piano repeating notes in a mysterious manner. played in major key?
-starting of first minute
-whole orchestra clashes as the battle breaks loose.
-hyms are sang
-banging of a bell after a hym = judgement day like sound
-brass is used = played in minor = trumping evil

please tell me what you think so far of my anaylist and please give me some ideas.
