Really surprised about La Campanella winning versus Hammerklavier. I know it has an edge on reputation, but Hammerklavier has a difficulty reputation too and is much more difficult. The more I hear La Campanella the more comprehensible it gets. But Hammerklavier is one of the craziest non-Sorabji fugues ever written.

Also, you have the wrong video for the Chopin-Godowsky Double Thirds.
last 3 schubert sonatas and piano trios are something else

Woops! Thanks for the heads-up, just fixed that.
Really surprised about La Campanella winning versus Hammerklavier. I know it has an edge on reputation, but Hammerklavier has a difficulty reputation too and is much more difficult. No kidding, TBH I don't even remember why I picked La Campanella to win that matchup. I'm grasping at straws here but my best guess are that it won on bravura and popularity alone. Maybe the fact that it was a synthesia video had something to do with it too.
At this point I'm just hoping either Wilde Jagd or Op. 268 mvt. 4 knocks it out in the quarterfinals; no shot that it loses to B1.
