Thank you to everyone who has voted already, and for those who haven't: there's a little more than two days left to get your votes in!

Also, transitional: don't worry about Mereaux appearing in the future. I've banned him from the competition (/j, though I'm definitely not including anything from him next year).

Another thing I was thinking about is making the pieces more obscure so there are more concrete factors to decide how hard the pieces are. If we keep using La Campanella it's going to be pretty skewed based on popularity and Youtube pianist statements. One thing I was thinking could happen is to have a super obscure tournament where we look for new composers, no composers from this tournament, and no repeat composers to get maximum obscurity. It might be fun if this doubles as a way to discover a lot of new composers, because I don't think we need 10 Liszt pieces another year. There was some funny stuff from this year though, and I really enjoyed the expansion!

Also, transitional: don't worry about Mereaux appearing in the future. I've banned him from the competition (/j, though I'm definitely not including anything from him next year).
Thanks

Sorry, haven't had time to comment in a little bit.
I have submitted my vote for both the match and the awards.
If you'll allow this question, how many votes are we at for this match?

Not on topic for this match, but I still can't get over that Feux Follets and Petrushka were tied, and thank God Op. 268 mvt. 4 beat that "Saint Saens Whatever".

Not going to give away the exact number, but I'll say that we've broken two vote count records with this match, and there's a possibility that we break three.

It's more votes than I remember last time having, though I don't currently have access to last year's form (it's on a different account) so I don't know for sure.

I made a typo. Vote ends on the 19th, not the 18th.
Everyone still has one more day.

Checked the website, and I see that you've also slated the reveal for this match and the awards for April 20...
Tell me, will it be another *** slideshow?
