New Bach Video Fugue n 7 in E Flat major BWV 852
on: October 07, 2025, 01:40:13 PM
Dear Friends,

I publish this piece not only to continue my dream of recording the entire Well Tempered Clavier I by Johann Sebastian Bach, but also to participate in a piano contest (Pianoteq Piano contest 2024) with my VST Pianoteq. I hope you like it, now a few words about the song.
In contradistinction to the seriousness and strength of this powerful piece, the second fugue (à 3 parts), a superfluous addition, seems almost like a harmless merry postlude.
Who will venture to say whether the central motive of the theme with its tone succession Eb Ab G ab c Bb, recalling the theme of the great fugue, was the result of chance, or of intention, or the unconscious assimilation of creative genius?
It was really fun to study it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Greetings from Italy
Carmelo
