Ideas needed.
on: March 04, 2005, 03:32:04 AM
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with solo piano repertoire composed by Chinese composers. I'm trying very hard to find good ones to add on to my recital program. I welcome any suggestions. Thank you.  :)

I'm not familiar with the repertoire from China, but here's a link to a CD that features 20th century chinese composers of piano music.

I haven't heard him myself, but according to a friend, the composer Tan Dun has written some nice (piano) music.

listen to some Final Fantasy music. I know it is video game music, but alot of it is in a somewhat classical style and sounds phenomenal.
