HOROWITZ HAS BEEN BEATEN!!!!!
on: March 10, 2005, 04:15:33 AM
I just got finished listening to the most amazing piece of music. It was a fantasie based on Bizet's Carmen opera. It was written for violin and orchestra (though the orchestra played a minimal part). Sorry Horowitz (and I am a huge fan of him) but this composer (Pablo somethinganother) spanked you on this one. Didn't think it could happen, but it did.

waxmen also wrote another extended version for violin and orchestra and it's harder than the one by sarasate.
