Topic: Which one shall i play? (Read 2875 times)

I want to learn a liszt piece.
I was thinking maybe Hungarian Rhapsody No.12 or tarantella from 2nd year italy. Which one have you played. which one do you like better?
Or have you got suggestions??

Im learning Rhapsody No.12. It sounds difficult (and it is of course) but not TOO challenging though. Only the ending is extremely difficult.

i think you should play the hungarian raphsodie no. 12 it sounds nice and kind of show-offy too! i haven't studied it though...

Alright,

The ending was a bit complex but it wasn't that bad
just practice is needed for it

but i stll think tarntella is better

How did you find this piece, Jezz? What was the hardest part you found about it, besides the ending?

how many hungarian rhapsodies by liszt have you guys learned? i've learned number 12 and 2.

The Second Year in Italy is a treasure trove. Why not do the three Petrach Sonnets as a set? You'll never regret learning them, they're wonderful to perform, and they'll bring you pleasure for years to come.
