And a new one:https://www.pianostreet.com/
Copyright within the EU exists for 70 years after the author/composers death, providing they were an EU national.
great site!! thanks so much
I found this site https://www.sheetmusicarchive.net/index.cfm You can download max of 2 per day.I also went to another site Free-Sheet music.com (or something) but when I clicked on sheet music I ended up at another site where you definately buy it. I thought that the 2 were linked. So I contacted them and said where is the "Free" sheet music. Anyway in their reply they said the following:We are a retailer. Free sheet music does not exist on the web except for public domain material like Bach and Beethoven pieces etc. All sheet music is copyrighted and it's illegal to share it for free. Unless the site owner wants to go to prison and face large fines. Now Im confused. Are public domain sites legal or not. The only restriction I see on the site I gave at the top was that its illegal to download music after 1923 outside the US. Anybody have advise? Im in the UK
er... I hope Joel knows about this, m1469..
no no no Im sure it's fine.. Why dont you go ahead and post them, but send Joel a private message asking if it's alright to spread around the link. If it were my music, I would like to be in control of who is accessing my music and for what reason. also, he might have a maximum bandwidth, so only a certain number of downloads are allowed in a given time.
Oh m1469, haha I should have mentioned before.. About that post where you gave the threads where Joel's links are:By doing this ("grabbing links off other threads"), you are still telling the gangmembers about the party - you may not be directly showing them where the house is, but instead you draw them a map so they can easily seek it out themselves!hehe...such a trouble maker, m1469
