Very true.  His overtures are fun indeed.  But did he write anytning for piano that's worth a da*ned?  Anybody know?

Rossini was a prolific, amazing composer.  But he is known almost exclusively for his overtures.  You shouldn't waste your time with any of his later compositions (he basically stopped composing around 1830, and went into a coccoon for about 30 years).
