Yamaha GC1 vs Kawai GE-30
on: March 18, 2005, 07:35:19 AM
I am in the market looking for a smaller grand and have narrowed it down to two choices, the Yammy GC1(5"3") and the Kawai GE-30(5'5"). These two will fit nicely into my living room and also my budget. The Kawai dealer has a mint-condition well-priced 1 year old RX2 in the showroom that I really like but the 5'10" frame would likely overpower my living room.
I would like to hear from those who either own or have played extensively on either of above mentioned babygrands. I appreciate your inputs and comments.
This new purchase is to replace an older Young Chang grand from 15 years ago so an upright no matter how great just would not do.
Thanks very much in advance.
