on: March 22, 2005, 05:37:48 PM
Anyone have any opinions/ experience of this repertory? I have some audioexperience of a few of his piano works but am interested to know your thoughts opinions and experiences of playing/ listening to his music.

I love Respighi. He did not write too much for piano, but everything he wrote is very beautiful and none of it is particularly difficult. I especially like his “Notturno” and his “Intermezzo-Serenata”.
Best wishes,
Bernhard.

Respighi's antique arias and dances are absolutely beautiful and not all that easy that you could first think at a first listening. Unless you have quite big hands, they will present you with some challenges.
