Kawai Upright Piano KS1
on: March 29, 2005, 05:17:34 PM
Hello,

i am planning to buy a piano but i'm not an expert in purchasing one and would like some help.
I saw this kawai piano for 3000 euro.
The year is from 1979-1985.

is it worth this price?
I use the piano to practice songs everyday and want to have a good which sounds nice for a reasonable price.

Really, it depends entirely on what you think of the piano. I am not aware of this model, but Kawai uprights are very passable (have one myself). Do you know the date exactly? 6 years is a long time. If you love this piano buy it (also try barganing a bit, lowers the price), but if you can wait, try to get a newer piano you truely love, they do appear, just keep looking. :) I don't know much about euro, but in Canda, I purchased a Kawai Ns-20a 50 inch upright for $6500  Canadian before tax (roughly 4000 euro), and it was only 3 years old with one year of use!
Follow your heart. :) (That was cheesey :-X, but true)
Medtner is my god.
