It's the communication tower by Santiago Calatrava, on Montjuic hill (Olympic City) in Barcelona.

Very nice.

Please see below the communication tower in my town.  ;D

I am pondering the possibility that even wise people can be blundering idiots ... that makes sense, doesn't it ?

Yes, I can accept that, too.  However, it does not follow that ALL blundering idiots are wise whereas perhaps all wise people are bludering idiots (at least at one point or another).  Okay, maybe that is not fair ...

Right now I am wondering what lay beyond the next bend and I wonder if there is anybody else who is already there (anyway, I guess I am ready to meet new people and be in new places) ?  I think that perhaps I will play music for them when I get there and along the way (perhaps I will just music my way to that place and to those individuals).  See you on the other side, whoever you are :), and goodbye for now all you others (perhaps we will meet up again someday :) *waves* ).

I'm wondering why m1469 is always concerned about being controlled by other people, and what all these strings are she mentions, and why she's always wondering and urning for something or maybe that's just her state all the time.

No offense meant but I do wonder sometimes.

I'm thinking how stupid I am, because when I went and bought my bow, I forgot to get a stringerer and a wrist sling.

It's a 40min drive to the nearest archery shop, and my taxi doesn't want to go back there for a while :(
My bow is very nice though.

That is quite cool!
I wouldn't do that to my bow though, it's only been strung once and shot about 3 times.
I think I will just use a club stringer.

On a brighter side, I'm going to make a wrist sling out of a shoelace, and a nice person on an archery forum has offered to sell me a stabiliser for only the cost of postage. He switched from recurve to compound and apparently it looked silly on the compound.

That this is a serrriioouuussslllyy old thread and that I'll probably infuriate half the people in this forum for bumping it back up, but I'm still doing it anyway  ::).

. . . about how I'm so freaking stupid (at times  :P) that I failed to realize that there is, in fact, MORE than one page to this thread, so it has not really been 3 years since someone last posted in it. . . .

About the extreme jealousy I feel when I look on youtube to get an idea of certain ornaments for a piece that I have questions on and see six year olds effortlessly executing what I have been struggling on for the last hour or so. . . .

About how maybe the mentioned 6 year olds will maybe just burn out anyway and decide that they want to be rugby players or something different than pianists. . . .

About how that's a seriously messed up thought, and what's even sicker is that I think it made me feel slightly better. . . .

And finally, about the infamous "flying purple people-eaters" . . . don't ask; I only know that that was the song that popped into my head when I started reading this thread (naturally, I'm now singing horrible Halloween tunes like "The Monster Mash," etc) . . . .

Thinking about Intelligent Design. Just watched a 2 hour lecture given by Eugenie Scott (University of Michigan thing. . . mostly about the schooling controversy. . . didn't actually delve too much into the theory itself (was doing housework, though, so maybe she did)) on the Research Channel about it. Interesting stuff.

I love all the scooters in the photo above... and the general disorganization - walk anywhere - park anywhere. The bright yellow vans, the blue scooters & blue tarps & the one roof in the background ... there's actually lots of color & busy-ness in that. It's cool. Aside from that - what's on my mind is what else can I sell on craigslist to get some more cash in my pocket & how quickly can I double my student roster... That is - just looking today at the tuition for the UC I'm transferring to - along with the cost of commuting and parking - and I need to find a fellow music student to carpool with. that - and about a thousand other things... And - how this Beethoven Op. 90 is growing on me...

What's on my mind...

...is the essay due tomorrow, exam on Wednesday, and 2nd essay on Thursday, for all of which I am up the creek.  Plus I'm sick.  And so looking forward to a few weeks when I can empty the tin tank getting nutty as only a post-exam student could.  And hoping I pass, which I think I can if I work solidly from here on in.  And quitting my course after this semester.  And what I'm going to be doing until transferring into a new course next year.

I have a lot of things on my mind at the moment!

Of the above, I havn't started the essay due tuesday and one of the assignments.

Kinda makes me wonder why I'm on pianostreet...but oh well.

Ugh. Thinking about all of the INSANE pianists at the piano intensive who hate all of the vocalists here. . . (lol - I'm kind of thinking about the ones who love us too  :P).

Hmm . .. thinking that I must get to bed. Early day tomorrow (However, as I am currently on  a post-acting-class/singing all day/in lessons with PHENOMENAL people "high" . . . I think sleep's out of the picture. . ..  ::)).

Alright. . . off to the dorm.

From my perspective at the time, I would guess that for humanity as a race to fully accept that all of existence originates from a single source, and that time and space are not what they seem (traveling, for example, to the moon, or even better, to "distant" planets), it is still a ways off.  And, it will seem to be a revelation as some kind of advanced idea.  Similarly to gaining the perspective enough to learn and accept that the Earth is round.

However, it seems to me that for humanity to accept these things is just a little tiny starting point, it's like humanity just being born ... or at best, having a little first step as a baby.  Little, baby humanity.  I love you little baby humanity.

*holds little baby humanity in arms*
*sings to little baby humanity*
*looks into little baby humanity's wide eyes*
*wonders what little baby humanity will grow up to be*

I also think though that there are people of all sorts who do accept this already.
