Gold Medal 1982 Feruccio Busoni International Piano Competition
Gold Medal 1983 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition

Hung-Kuan Chen is currently the chair of the piano department at the Shanghai Conservatory.  He will perform a recital on Sunday April 24, 2005 at 3:00 pm in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
