Brahms / Bach
on: April 05, 2005, 04:43:36 PM
Hello there,

Does anyone play Brahms' transcription for lh of Bach's Chaconne? (not the Busoni version, that is)
I was just curious about some fingerings, I have the whole thing fingered but wanted to check a couple of things before learning it proper (esp. the fast passage before the part in the D major). Maybe could you PM me if you can discuss it with me!

best,

edward

I didn't know Brahms did a version. How does it compare to Busoni? Some people dislike Busoni as a composer, I don't. But a Brahms version sounds interesting too.
