piano concerto with brass band

Hello everyone!

Who knows some good concerto's for piano and brass band? I only played the Gershwin, and heard an interesting Stravinsky- recording (Toradze, what a performer!). Do you think there are any transcriptoins available of the standard piano concerto's?

Bye,

Ernie ;D

I did a wonderful arrangement of Shostakovich's second piano concerto with the Grimethorpe colliery band in the UK last year.  Arranged by their main conductor Elgar Howarth. Much fun! ;D

Great piece!  ;) Since a conductor in Holland asked me to look for a good transcription, I'm very interested too. Could you provide me with some e-mail - adress to contact this Howarth? I wonder if the material is available for rent.

Thanks for the tip,

Ernie
