Chopin meets Jobin

Hi all,

Many years ago, I watched a documentary about Chopin, by the end of it the credits were shown with Chopin's prelude no 4 in the background which beautifully and seamelssly transitioned to a gorgeous equally melancholic bossanova song, which melody I knew but I did not know the name nor the composer. That was "How Insensitive" by Tony Carlos Jobin, which as I learned later, it was inspired by Chopin's prelude.

I have loved Jazz just as much as classical music and always wanted to play these two pieces one after the other. But Jazz has been impossible for me as seems to be the case for many classicaly trained musicians.

I am happy to share here the two pieces performed live with two colleagues from work with improvised sax and piano solos.
