As indeed it ought to have done by being strangled at its birth almost eleven years ago, not least because evidence on its first page suggests that even at its launch it was already an offshoot of an earlier similarly oriented thread; its inherent sexist reference solely to female pianists speaks for itself and says far more about the puerility of its contributors than it does about the pianists mentioned and, throughout the wearisome half-life of this thread, it seems that no one has even sought to question the meaning of the word "businiess" in its title...

If that's supposedly directed at me,
I have no idea what you're talking about. The demographic of which you write is dobtless composed principally of men; my point was that women (and I am not a woman, as my name should clarify) are equally entitled to belong to their own in which they might find men attractive, hence the sexist nature of this thread. As I'm not interested in telling anyone here or elsewhere anything about anyone, female or male, on whom I might have a "crush", I have no idea why you suggest that I might consider opening a thread such as you suggest; I did, after all, indicate that I find the threed not only sexist but also puerile.
