A Jazz Piano Christmas 2025 – But not at the Kennedy Center

For more than three decades, “A Jazz Piano Christmas” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. has been a quiet highlight of the holiday season for jazz and piano lovers. Here’s what changed, and where pianists can still turn for meaningful jazz piano Christmas listening and playing. Read more

I am not sure which the Richardson version is.  But there are these two versions for solo piano:
https://classic.manual.ru/notes/pdf/Rach-Chubrik_Vocalise.zip
https://notes.tarakanov.net/piano/rachmvocal.zip

I have always played the first one because I feel it is more accessible.  I am not sure what the original key signature is suppose to be though.  The first one is in e minor, the 2nd is in c# minor.

You guys are all barking up the wrong tree!!

For the finest transcription of the vocalise check out that of Earl Wild published by 'Michael Rolland-Davis' or go to the Earl Wild website.

There's no repeats ie. they are written out so the music is continually growing in texture and agitation. True geniuus!! ;D
