Seriously...this is the best Liszt piece for enthusiastic pianists with some technique to begin with.  I think it encompasses all the brilliance and musical genius that Franz Liszt stands for.  Never played it ? Learn it this summer!

agree that is great piece to begin study liszt
btw i dont really wanna say that is the best liszt for enthusiastic pianists
but if u need more octave technique i would go with op.25 no.10 of chopin
and some parts of paganini etudes no.2 3 6 then transcendental etudes
i want to learn all paganini this summer
