Interested in coming to my Concert?
on: May 23, 2003, 12:12:51 AM
Hello everyone, I just wanted to know if anyone would be interested in coming to my solo concert on June 2nd at The Steinway Gallery on RT.17 in Paramus NJ.  I am 16 years old and this is my 1st SOLO concert.

I will be performing:

Scarlatti- Sonata in A Major (K.24, L.495)
Scarlatti- Sonata in E Minor (K.147, L.376)
Mozart- Sonata KV457 in C Minor--all movements
Chopin- Nocturne op.32 Nr.2
Debussy- Feux d'artifice (Fireworks)

I might also play La Campanella by Listz.

Please let me know if you are interested in coming and I will post directions to the event.  Thanks in advance.

Kyle

I WOULD LOVE TO GO!!!!! Unfortunately I'm not available that day! :( I live about 2 hours away from Paramus and I also have been in the place where you'll play!

I also played the Bosendorfers in a piano store close to Steinway! I am wishing you the best performance!!!

By the way, I am 17 and I also played Fireworks in Steinway Hall in Manhattan. Let me know how the recital goes! Will you be recording it? I would love to hear your performance!

Take care,
Stephen

Awesome, I perform in Steinway Hall in NYC every year.  I love playing the giant Steinways they have there.  I bought my Steinway and Sons piano from there about 3 years ago.

I don't THINK we will be recording the concert.  I am really excited.  I have played in front of many people at Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center, but something about putting on an entire concert by myself gives me the BIG JIDDERS!

Thanks again for your support! I hope I do well also.

Don't worry about the jidders! As of now, I have never performed with anybody else!
