Jeremy Ricketson - Sea Dreams

This was my very first serious effort at composition...

Looking back, the title seems a bit silly to me.  I'm sure I could come up with something a bit more poetic in the future.

Even this early work shows Ravel's influence, I think! I like it...I'm a sucker for arpeggios all over the place like that. You have a good sense for impressionist style melody.

Thanks, Derek.  I think I was particularly inspired by Une Barque sur l'ocean, one of my favorite pieces at the time....
