I love counterpoint! I start off practicing by sightreading unfamiliar Bach fugues, even before I work on my usual fugue (E major bk. II at the moment). And today I got too much sleep, started praciticing around 23:00. Then I worked a bit on the Hammerklavier fugue for fun (Carish Urtext ed. has a wrong note! m.7 RH F# should be double-sharped), before moving on to op. 111, to work on the fugue-like stuff in the C minor movement. Now I have a counterpoint headache! Took tylenol and I'm surfing the forum because I got nothing better to do. I should have seen this coming, between Bach, hammerklavier and the Diabelli variations (more fun sightreading exercizes!) over the past few days.
