Yamaha G2E
on: May 21, 2005, 01:42:20 AM
Can anyone explain a little what the models numbers mean? In this case the piano is a Yamaha G2E. It also has the letters BL on the info card. What I have found out is that the serial of 2867282 puts the manufacture date at 1979. I read that manufacture methods vary depending on the country they are sent to. How much can be known from the numbers? Can anyone comment on how this model sits in terms of tone, construction, quality etc in the Yamaha range?
