How do I get my hands on Ligeti's Etudes?
on: May 25, 2005, 09:50:11 PM
There are 15 as far as I know (book I has 6, book II has 8, and book III just started and has 1).
Do you know how I can get the score? Once I get it, any suggestions on how I read it?

Enjoy!
Best wishes,

The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. (Hunter Thompson)

These things are nuts thats all I have to say. Spend forever learning them well, and then still not too many people will want to listen to them. Sure they will be impressed with how fast your hands move, but how much will they actually listen to. They would probably be good for a competition though. I have never learned or performed any of them, but if i had to I would definately say my prayers.
