You thoughts on Shigeru Kawai pricing

Hi all,

I am about to commit to a Shigeru Kawai SKII (5'10"). I personally like it more than Yamaha C3, and thought it superior to Kawai's RX series.

The negotiated price is USD16,700 brand new.

Is that a reasonable price to pay?

I have never seen a price this low in the USA.

Have to agree. I was qouted something in the mid 30's for that piano. For what you were quoted, I should buy two!

I am in Singapore. The dealer officially represents Steinway and Kawai. If any of you are interested, I'd be happy to refer.

Should be getting my shigeru in about 3 weeks!

I think, Kawai had relative low price in Asia. I live in Taiwan and I got a quote of SK-3 at 20.6K.
