Koji,

I am working on Scriabin's 10th Sonata and need to have it done by the 8th and I have hardly started it  ??? :-[ :-\

I listened to your recording and it was absolutely remarkable.

So, I have a few questions:

1) What fingering do you use for the Allegro? How do you get the melody to come out? How did you get it up to speed? I am having to play this section remarkably slow.  Could it be because I'm having to play it on an upright, I will play a grand at my lesson.

2) What fingering do you use for the left hand trills a couple measures after the notation: "with sudden joy"?

3) What techniques did you use for memorizing this piece imparticular?

4) Overall, do you predominately use 1-3 for the trills? ETC.

Thank you SOO much,
DLu ;D ;D ;D

I'm not Koji.  But in regard to fingerings.  Try to check your library for the Peters edition.  I referenced this when I learned the 5th Sonata, and found it has good suggestions.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
