Concert, with no charge..

I am putting on a concert wiht a few friends here in Jacksonville later this month.  There will be no charge to get in but i was wondering what the best way to suggest a donation?!  thanks all!

Get a big bucket near the entrance that says "donations" on it.

hehe sign says how poor musicians have to survive as well, a tragic story, and plea and at the end write "entry by donation"? hehe ;D

Something I've seen several times is that people can pay whatever they want for the program leaflet/book. That's a way to get some donations but also means you need program leaflets.

Do up a poster that asks for a donation and put it up at the door? Otherwise you can ask the masters of ceremony to ask for donation before/after the concert. The appeal for donation can be done together with publicity for the concert too.

You can always go to some local companies and have them sponsor the recital. Then put there logo or something on the program.
