A funny thing happened to me today actually. This week I was concentrating on getting my scales and techniques up. Every time before I start playing piano, I always do 30 minues of Scale warm ups, so every day this week I tried to sustain this and I did.
Then today I got up and started doign scales, and bam, nothing! My fingers felt weak and my wrists began to hurt right away! Maybe it was because I finished playing the other night at around 1AM and went to bed pretty late, and I was tired, but I was so angry at my hands!

I mean I worked all week very hard, I did my Etudes very good, I felt my technique strenghten, and then they just fail on me.
When your wrists hurt is it bad? I don't know about you guys, but my teacher tought me everything. The only place in my body where I feel tense or nervous is my brain, and thats it!
My hands are free, my shoulders are free, and I've never had any problems with overplaying my hands. I've been playing for 4 1/2 years, so I guess I'm doing everything right, because I see progress, and more progress.
