Mozart Sonata C Major KV 330 (not that famous easier one)

Could someone please show me how to do the grace note and trill on measure seven?
I know trills here supposed to start on upper, but it really feels like it shoulcn't.

And that first grace note, Is it on the beat?

I am such a little leaguer. and measures 26 and 37 have me stumped, too.

For common purposes, "grace notes" in Mozart-era music are not "grace notes." Their are acturaiaiisturas (sorry) and they are played in time. They are "naughty notes" and therefore written smaller but played as though they run with the big boys.

well, you can either start it on the F (ie F-G-F-E-F) or start it on the G (G-F-G-F-E-F). i've heard it played both ways. personally i prefer to start on the F.

yep. how long you make it seems to be down to taste (i haven't heard any two performers do it the same way).

in bar 26 i start the trill on the upper note (D-C-D-C-B-C) and in bar 27 i do the E and F# as quick grace notes starting on the beat.

are you doing this for grade 8 btw? it's on the ABRSM syllabus this year.

He is either trying to say appoggiaturas or acciaccaturas.
