Music Schools
on: June 18, 2005, 06:01:10 PM
This summer I will be attending Interlochen. On the way home, my parents would like to take my brother and I on college visits. Some schools we are looking to visit are Ithaca, Eastman (and Rochester for my brother), Boston art school cant really remember the name, temple, carnegie mellon, peabody, harvard, yale, princeton (all three more for my brother but i will certainly investigate their music programs). I was wondering what other good music schools there are to visit in this area.  It would be nice to visit some near the border with Canada as we will be in northern michigan anyway. I live in the Annapolis, MD area to give you an idea of where we could go visit. Thanks

Since you are in Michigan, you should visit the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  U of M has a phenomenal arts program and one of the oldest in the US.

In Canada you might want to visit the Glenn Gould Professional School in Toronto.
