susan = lily

(what was my mother thinking?  it's such an old-fashioned name.  but, it's too late to change it to something more fashionable - though i've thought of using a z.  like suzan).

what is yours and what does it mean?

you look it!  so your initial 'cool' was actually your name definition, too, because it sort of means calm.  you have a calm looking mom, too.

Michael.

My invented name means that, although I can spell my name backwards, I'm not very inventive :)

Thought for the day. Did Bob do the same trick and how would we know?

Laura = crowned/victorious  or something like that.  It's derived from those laurel leaf crowns the victors used to wear in the old days I think.  Lagin, is just initials from my full name

Henry Blyth. Not Blythe, like most idiotic people do, because to them it would be Blith without the 'e'..... silly numpties...

Anyway-- Henrah was a product of many joints and an active group imagination when confronted with my daily 'washabaja' talk. The ending is what I think made the rah. Plus the way my friends say Henrah is a good example of my personality. Henraaah

My real name is Eleanor, which depending which version you like is either a French version of the Greek name Helen, meaning 'light', or a Provencale version of Alienor. I prefer the second, as I'm named for Eleanor of Acquitane. She was named for her mother, Aenor, and known as alia Aenor ('the other Aenor') to avoid confusion. Aenor is a Germanic name which is so archaic there isn't much of a consensus on its meaning, two possible roots are feminine versions of Einar (warrior) or Eino (awe).

My nickname, Elspeth, is - wait for it - an old Scottish version of Elizabeth, which is itself a Greek version of a Hebrew name meaning 'my God is an oath.' My grandfather's nickname for me is Elizabeth - why, I've no idea!

my name is Dominic Andrzej Konieczny.

 Andrzej is Polish for Andrew, and andrzej is said like anjay in simple, but with a bit of drz in it. my name has no meaning. well, actually in Polish, Konieczny means 'necessary'. have no clue why that ended up as my surname.

Jason - Greek for "healer".

Rosay - no idea what it means, except it's originally Irish-Scottish and is now the name of a few small French villages.  8)
