Click on this--https://www.pianoforum.net/smf/index.phpnow log in at the very bottom of the page. That was the only place where the log-in seemed to work. Good luck! (You will need it!!)
Nils, I cant post mp3s in the audition room since the changeover.
uhm..i dont know if im the only one..but the forum doesnt feel cozy anymore after the change...
I'm DYING to go to the chatroom, because this is my hour to "put my feet up and do nothing"! Please help, Nils!!!
For some reason when I switched over to piano street the first letter in my name is not capitalized any more. Can you please fix this? It should be Contrapunctus not contrapunctus. And did Piano street buy piano forum or something?
Hi whoever,Aside from the above problem(s), how does one access their e-mail account? (@pianiomail.net) I always used the link on Piano Forums previous site.
Seems as if the new site and the switch over were not thought through very well. You might loose a lot of participants because it looks like the new forum only wants money. It says free, but you have to choose 'Paypal or credit card'.Michael.
i'm a bit confused does everyone need to confirm their detail (ie your account will be wiped like if you never confirmed before) or is that only for people who care for having a single account (or an account at all) for the sheet music login?
I agree. I can feel some weird, uneasy (slightly threatening) vibes here...
As long as the forum stays free. Anyway, why the change?
I like the button changes on the top though, but maybe the buildlings on either side of the piano keyboard is a little intimidating :p I don't know how well it goes with the colours.... I have an idea, why not do a little contribution design thing with the top logos...Maybe like people walking on big piano keys to represent the street? hehe.... something simple but effective? Don't know.. what do you think?
So is this site actually called "Piano street" not "piano forum" anymore? Where did that idea come from?
i have to say i liked the pianoforum name better myself (since the sheet music seems to be the small part & the forum the big part why was there a need for a domain name instead of a simple pianoforum.net/sheet ?)
also you said pianoforum wasn't bought but is it a joint thing with the sheet music website or is it pianoforum wich bought it? (& since i'm clueless i'd be interested in knowing who owns pianoforum is it a company or an individual?)
Hey, I have an idea!!! Have Tash design the banner!! I agree, the buildings give at 'impersonal' feeling. (Personally, I don't like the name 'piano street' nearly as well as 'piano forum'. Should we make a poll?)
however i'm glad there is no selling out or anything of that kind but i think the transition could have been made much (much) smoother...
I am sincerely sorry to hear that. If you could let me know what you feel is causing this serious degradation of the Piano Forum atmosphere I will do anything I can to restore the coziness.Believe me, I take this very seriously.
