Thanks everyone for your feedback!

I am really sorry for the problems caused by the changes but can assure you that it is only temporarily and everything will be working perfectly fine again soon.
Also, I want you too know that the improvements of our website is only to provide a better service. You will not loose anything, just get even more features and content.
I'm DYING to go to the chatroom, because this is my hour to "put my feet up and do nothing"! Please help, Nils!!!
I hope to have the chat working again tonight!!!
For some reason when I switched over to piano street the first letter in my name is not capitalized any more. Can you please fix this? It should be Contrapunctus not contrapunctus.
And did Piano street buy piano forum or something?
Your name is fixed! (Anyone else need to change, just let me know.)
No, who could ever afford to buy Piano Forum?

Piano Street is just a development of Piano Forum and as the site will include so much more content and features I decided to switch domain name.
Hi whoever,
Aside from the above problem(s), how does one access their e-mail account? (@pianiomail.net) I always used the link on Piano Forums previous site.
An even easier link that the above mentioned is
https://mail.pianomail.netSeems as if the new site and the switch over were not thought through very well. You might loose a lot of participants because it looks like the new forum only wants money. It says free, but you have to choose 'Paypal or credit card'.
Michael.
An important point indead! Most of the services (including forum and chat) will always remain free so we need to make this more clear on the site.
i'm a bit confused does everyone need to confirm their detail (ie your account will be wiped like if you never confirmed before) or is that only for people who care for having a single account (or an account at all) for the sheet music login?
For everones convenience it will be better to have a integrated account that keeps you logged in to the compete site instead of separating the forum and the other content.
If it had been possible I had upgraded all previous pianoforum.net members to Piano Street accounts but since your passwords are stored encrypted in the database (for your own security) there is no way to do this.
No account will ever be wiped and when we have solved the unexpected technical problem we currently have regarding this I hope the intergration will be smooth.
uhm..i dont know if im the only one..
but the forum doesnt feel cozy anymore after the change...
I agree. I can feel some weird, uneasy (slightly threatening) vibes here...
I am sincerely sorry to hear that.

If you could let me know what you feel is causing this serious degradation of the Piano Forum atmosphere I will do anything I can to restore the coziness.
Believe me, I take this very seriously.
As long as the forum stays free.
Anyway, why the change?
The forum will always remain free, please don't worry!
The "change" is just development of the site to provide a better service.
