Liszt recording up for assessment
on: June 24, 2005, 08:05:40 PM
Hello, all...after 2 and a half months of practicing, I think I’m *almost* finished learning (but not perfecting, of course) Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 15.  There are still a few rough spots, especially in the middle section, but I hope to have those worked out soon.  Would anyone be willing to critique it?  (A recording is attached)  Any suggestions/criticisms/praises/condemnations would be greatly appreciated ;)

Also…I’d love to learn Liszt’s 2nd Hungarian Rhapsody sometime in the (somewhat near) future, but I know I’m nowhere near ready for that—physically, musically, technically.  Can anybody suggest some pieces (perhaps by lesser-known composers) that would help prepare me for that?

Thanks!
-Kerry
