I think this composition clearly shows you are gaining intuition for traditional tonal melodies in the context of a waltz. My only criticisms would be (and these are goals of mine as well..I don't do these often enough)

-Sometimes the bass line of the waltz bass sits there for too long, try to see if you can make the bass line into a melody of its own with different note values etc.  like da da  dadadat  da  dadadat...dunno if that helped lol.

-I notice the beginnings of this in your composition, but try to pile up more phrases into a complete melody and create more variety within the phrases. This is very tricky to do and I certainly am no expert at it yet.

I hope that helps! I often find suggestions like these produce a new burst of creativity, as though a few "adjustment levers" were moved in my brain upon reading them.
