vittorio bresciani. wow! he conducts AND plays the piano. that's hard to beat. (except, i'm married - and realize vittorio probably can't sing).
what i think is 'hot' is when any pianist (average, good looking, hot) walks out and is confident, plays well, and has repore with the audience. if they are too arrogant, it is a turn off because there is no 'give and take.' you can actually gain momentum from a good audience. and, i think they should always strive to please every age in the audience.
i'm older than most on here, but i like andre rieu because of this. he plays music for everyone, and tries to gain the favor of the whole audience and not just a section. although, pianists can't try too hard to play everything without sacrificing who they are musically. unless you are very very gifted, playing everything well is hard.
