Hi everyone! I visited this forum countless times but never got the time to register till now =)
Let me introduce myself..
My name is Josh and I've been playing piano for about 4-5 years. As with most students, I didn't take piano seriously. But around my 4th year I suddenly started loving piano. I loved to play pop (

)and then switched to classical a little later. Then when I heard Rach's prelude, I succumbed to the grasp of modern/classical music! Ever since then I have learned pieces such as Brahm's Hungarian Dance No.5, to Mozart's K.545 Sonata, K.331, and Piano Concerto No.8, to Rach's Op.3 No.2 and op.23 No.5 preludes. Right now I'm working on Mozart's Fantasy in D minor and Rach's Elegie (just beautiful). I recently took part in my piano school's festival and I won 4 trophies and a scholarship. Two of them were first place, one of them for being the best of my age group! Its my first time I've done so well! My teacher thinks I'm doing pretty well that she wants me to work on Rach's Polichinelle and Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No.13. The rhapsody is too hard for me obviously, but I'm having the Rhapsody No.17 in mind.
Well that basically raps up my short piano life. I'd really appreciate if I heard from all of yours too.
Thx a lot!
