This worries me.

0 new members thusfar for the month of july.  I don't know if the counter is broken, or just if people are scared away by the new registration page.  Like they see "$" and run away.  Or, I just don't know what I'm talking about.  Carry on.
I want an Integra.  1994-2001.   GSR.  If you see one, let me know.

Nope, the counter is broken, or only counts PF member registration, not the Piano Street accounts.
Anyway, when I go tho the Members' List and sort it by the Date registered, there are roughly 100 new people since July 1st.

https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?action=mlist;sort=registered;start=0;desc

But at least some of these could be confused members who thought they had to register anew, instead of re-activating their account.

And, even if there was a decline in New registrations because of the mention of money on the starting page... I think that would not be the problem. Either they are really committed to piano and want to share their knowledge...then they will have the time and will read through the page and register nevertheless. Or they aren't, and then they will probably not register. I mean, we have >7000 members, but how many are posting at least once a MONTH? I would say not even close to 500, probably not even 100. If you don't count the enthusiastic newbies who disappear after two weeks of mass-posting (btw, the 7th is still the day for your glorious 250-post action? don't want to miss it ;D), the number is even smaller.
Of course the more people come here, the better. At least for them, because the more people get free and valuable information about their hobby. What they do or do not contribute to the forum is another question.

I agree. No one registering is not necessarily a bad thing.
