Wow skepto, how many scarlatti sonatas do you have? 20? I didnt count.  Now im not stupid I know these are relatively short 1 mvmt sonatas, but do you find these useful?  Well I guess you probably find them useful, but I havent learned any of them.  I learn bach instead, but is scarlatti similar?  Tell me where I should start or any advice you have....

scarlatti has really been forced on me....... it's the only baroque I use and no it's not useful to know this many; I just keep getting assigned to them from my teacher to work on different stupid little techniques.  I'm not sure which I would recommend to start out with; I would ask your teacher.  I'm not sure how to compare him to Bach; even though they are both Baroque they are still quite different in what each composer requires to play his pieces.

On Bernhard suggestion, i have learned K32 (D minor). A very short and lovely beginner level sonata  :D :D
But, being so easy, i will EXCLUDE myself from taking part of the list  ;D ;D

After all, any experienced pianist can learn it in 1 hour !!! Of course, it took me  a little longer (2 weeks) !!!  :P :P

By the way, Scarlatti is GREAT.  :) :)

[don't laugh.  K 9 is beautiful.  it is in d minor.  the K 119 is in D major.  i am playing them as a pair.   wow.  skeptotamus.  who'd have guessed so much scarlatti!  i love scarlatti.  it may be simple, but it is sort of like easy listening classical because it can also be played on the guitar.]

do you know why benches fall apart?  it is because they have lids with little tiny hinges so you can store music inside them.  hint:  buy a bench that does not hinge.  buy it for sturdiness.
