i look up to people like you..and other pianists...great ones...and its a shame to see them throw away something good..dont be blinded by comparing yourself to others..or to what you believe you SHOULD be...you will achieve nothing but mental turmoil...

and if this is just a reflection of rough times..then just remember..sufferings and hardships are prerequisits to mental gain...

its one thing to set goals for oneself..this allows ones self to strive and attributes perseverance in an individual..but its when these goals morph into expectations..this is a combination of both angst and exhaustion...

maybe you should sit yourself down and re-prioritize yourself...re-measure the depth of your worth and doing this with good reasoning in mind, i assure you, your conclusive findings wont parallel your "i suck" allegations...

your love for music..and the pressure you put on yourself to achieve makes for a winning combination that fuels your drive...just dont let the pressure cloud your love...this eclipse will not allow the equilibrium that is art properly flourish within you...i'll quit while im ahead..but you know what i mean
