"lineage" for ordering the pieces?
on: July 10, 2005, 10:17:07 PM
Does anyone have a list of pieces from easy to more difficult, so that by mastering the easier ones you are prepared for the more difficult ones?

I've heard people mention one or two pieces that prepare you for a more difficult, more well-known piece, but I'm wondering if there's a list of this already?

There's usually a syllabus that the exmination boards provide for all instruments... There are set pieces for exams but also manual lists which explain what pieces should be played at what stage....don't know if that helps? The syllabus comes out every year where I live, if you want I can give u the list for each grade?

If it's easy to do, sure! :)

Can you post it?
