Having a vocal piece transcribed?
on: July 12, 2005, 09:53:55 AM
Does anyone know where I could get a piece of music transcribed with a program like "Finale?"  I have an aria I'd love to sing from a little known opera by Handel called "Alceste."  The piece is "Gentle Morpheus."

The only available opera score has the orchestra part.  It also has the piano reduction and the voice part.  BUT the problem is that it is so tiny, it would drive my accompanist crazy to have to read it.  It's a shame that this has never been printed in a modern edition.

I have no idea how much this would cost--or even if it would be worth me having this done.

Any suggestions?

get a free version of Finale and do the transcribing. That is the easiest way.

Thanks Boliver.  BTW I meant to post this in the "Anything But Piano" Topic heading.  My apologies.
